Strange

So, I've been working for Walmart for nearly a year. Ok, so it's still a while until I hit my one year mark (July 10th), but still.

I'm usually a good associate and wear my badge. Well, the other day, the clasp to my badge broke and so I stopped wearing it.

I swear to God, it's turned me invisible.

One day I was walking to our counter to grab some paper work for our freight when I saw a customer standing awkwardly by the counter. I asked if he needed any help, and he said that he was just waiting for someone to go behind the counter. I assumed he just meant that someone was in the back looking for something for him.

Then my coworker come up, in a black sweater and jeans (while I'm wearing the typical Walmart navy blue shirt and khaki pants) and asks if he needs help. He tells her that he just needed to be checked out. I mean REALLY? I'm not invisible at all, you know.

And then the next day it happened again!

I was working on a cart that we needed to get rid of, digging through boxes and scanning things so I will know where they go. Coworker walks by to go get something, nothing unusual. Then someone is walking around as if they need help, they look right at me, and then go to the coworker that passed by and ask for help.

I dislike being invisible :c
